CRARN Academy is basically for the street and abandoned chidren in Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria.

It also accommodates other disadvantaged children who do not have access to education. Some are children who don't have parents and any family support, children abandoned by parents to their grannies who are themselves very helpless.

CRARN Academy for now, is only a four class room block with an office room. It has about 120 children, 4 paid teaching staff incding a head teacher, 1volunteer teacher and a care-giver. A six bed room block for the boys accommodation. This is a donation from the state government on Akwa Ibom State. It equally has a functional borehole water donated by Latter-Day Saints Charites, a four bed room toilet with a bath room. Adjecent  the school block is a small poultry farm for the children which is taken care of by some of the grown-ups

One attractive sight you will like to enjoy is the vegetable garden planted and managed by the children themselves. There you  can see assorted kind of vegetables in the garden. Behind the poutlry farm is a pine apple orchard well cultivate by the children.

The children really enjoy the school, though, there is no recreational facilities yet for them. That not withstanding, they are so much encouraged by the amazing protection and love  given to them by the staff, volunteers and members of the CRARN family as compared to the devastating condition they passed through while on the streets, prayer houses and in their family house. Besides, for the fact that about 75% of them have never tested any formal

education also attest to their happiness

Though, there are inadequate facilities and manpower, we hope that with time, the children will be better placed when good facilities are installed.
